Guy Quigley was born in Ireland and hails from a third-generation Irish thespian and musical family. He and his wife, Wendy, relocated to the United States in 1983. They have three children and five grandchildren.
Previously he owned and operated a cattle estate in Zambia, Africa. He built the property to 40,000 acres with 5,000 head of cattle and imported 100 pedigree Semmintaler cattle from Bavaria, Germany, via three Boeing 707 Skybarn aircraft, establishing the first pedigree Semmintaler stud in Zambia. During that period, he also owned and operated a real estate company in Salisbury (Harare City), Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) and acquired a private pilot’s license for his own aircraft to travel between cattle estates in Zambia and offices in Rhodesia. He was forced to cease operations due to the explosive Liberation War.
He and his family emigrated to the US 1n 1983 and in 1989 he formed The Quigley Corporation, which introduced Cold-Eeze® to the US marketplace. He took the Company public in 1991 and operated the Company successfully until 2009.
In returning to his original roots, he has written four novels and more than six screenplays. During 2009, along with his partner, they took co-producer's roles in the movie producing world. The movie entitled "Magic Boys" has been completed in London UK and Budapest Hungary. It is due for release early in 2011. During July 2010, he also produced a "short movie" entitled "In the Bag". The completed movie designed to be a continuous 30 minute show will be presented to cable networks for their interest and if no interest exists, their production company will webcast the series.
