Lisa Burke is a novelist and freelance writer from Connecticut. After spending 10 years gainfully employed by a local municipality, Lisa quit her job to seek a life full of danger, intrigue, passion and enlightenment. Upon learning the community circus wasn’t hiring, she picked up a pen and began to write words that grew into sentences and beyond. The girl and her pen to this day have a tumultuous relationship, but continue to work together to create characters that amuse and bemuse readers.
Greatly influenced by the existential and Beat authors of the mid-20th century, Lisa tends to interject both metaphysical and eccentric themes into her fiction. Her aim is to bridge the gap between the airy lofts of imagination with the palpable confines of the physical plane.
