Of course, there are also the three cats and two dogs who actually own the place. Cross teaches high school English and college composition and public speaking. In his free time, he enjoys reading all kinds of fiction, especially young adult, and watching the St. Louis Rams and the St. Louis Cardinals. Cross has written and published several plays, which are performed by schools everywhere, and he writes test questions for ACT.
In other writing experiments with varying degrees of success, he has written all kinds of nonfiction, poetry, novels, and screenplays. One of his biggest aspirations is to option screenplays. He earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees at Southeast Missouri State University, a beautiful Mississippi river town located in Cape Girardeau, MO.
